More on Florida

Grrr I am trying to post picture of me, Alison and Nikole on the Hulk rollercoaster, the picture thing on the blogger doesn't seem to be working at this moment. I will try to post later.

I really had a great time in Florida. Took the red eye flight into Chicago, changed flights, flew into Miami. It was so beautiful from what I could see on the plane. Landed at Miami, the walk from the arrival gate to another gate was very long, that they actually had signs up telling you how much time left you had to walk to the other concourse! geez! Got to my gate, it was interesting that we got onto the tramac, boarded a tiny plane. Never flew a tiny plane before. It was a very quick flight from Miami into Fort Myers. I was met by Alison's brother in law. He is sooo good looking! ;) Alison's home is sooo gorgeous! Her daughter is sooo cute, too. We had dinner at cracker barrel! YUM!

Saturday, we drove up to Orlando. We took the back roads, it was very interesting, lots of red necks, houses right on highway, mexican areas, etc. Oh yeah we had gotten lots of love bugs. At first i thought it was bird poop and I commented it to Alison and she explained it that it was the lovebugs. Ugh. By the time we got to Orlando, the windshield was completely covered in love bugs and the front of car were covered with tons of lovebugs! We just relaxed at the pool. It was very beautiful. Met Alison's friends, Beth and her two kids. We had dinner at Hooter's. lots of cute guys there, tho ;) ... but the driving and locating Hooter's was awful and long, but i found car wash and told Alison "theres a carwash" and she immediately pulled into it and she washed and I helped her some with the brushing off the front grill and putting quarters in. We finally found Hooter's. The food was ok. Then we drove back to the resort, and saw that there was another Hooter's nearby the resort! Good grief!
Crashed Sat night. Sunday morning, I was told that I snored! YIKES! LOL .. we went to Univesral Studios and did Island of Adventures. It was fun, I strongly recommend riding the Hulk rollercoaster. It was soo thrilling, I can't even describe it. I am trying to load a picture of us riding on it. Grr stupid blog is not cooperating with the photo uploading! Ah well, anyway, we headed back to Naples sunday night, got home around 1130 pm and crashed. Monday was pretty lazy day, didn't do much. Slept most of the day! :) I am so jealous that Alison has Soapnet on her cable. We don't have soapnet here just yet. I got to watch Melrose Place rerun, and I had never even seen that eposide before. I have had missed quite a bit of Melrose Place. Anyway, went to dinner we had mexican, it was pretty good. Tried black beans for first time and it was pretty good. Went to Walmart there to look for the recharger (I left my recharger back on Orlando! D-oh!) but couldn't find one. Bought another suitcase (why is it that when you go away and u end up bringing back more stuff and not enough baggage!--gotta be Murhpy's Law). Tuesday hung out at the beach, I went into the water. It was soooo warm ... I love being in the ocean. Mali was so funny, she tried to eat sand, Mali was in the ocean a bit too.. took some video of her. Had lunch at a cafe, then back to her place, I got ready. We left at about 3 pm ... yikes there was really bad traffic (it's a 30 mins drive), no accidents, nothing just slow people I guess. I was starting to stress a bit. Worrying that I will miss the flight out (It was the last flight out to Seattle) .... got at the airport at 420 pm ... went to agent, checked in baggage, the agent told me to RUN, I did.. then saw that the security line was too long, so I went to the front, asked the employee if I could cut in front and showed her the ticket, she let me through.. had to take shoes off, though.. but didnt have time to put it back on, held onto my shoes, and kept running barefoot! LOL, so picture Flintstone running through airport (my feet are small and wide like Flintstones) .... LOL ... made it to the plane and i was sweating and outta breath.. 10 mins before it left.

So I am back home! I do feel different, bec i have mild arthritis in my back, and I can feel it now ...and my hamstring is acting up a little too. I am seriusly thinking about moving to FL one day.. that will be my goal.. maybe within 10 years or less... would need to sell my condo first, find work, etc. Unless I win a million dollars! :)

Next trek: Mexico in July
then Florida again in November
then I think Hawaii in December! :)
