Plans for 41st Birthday!

I scored a sweet deal on delta.com. I am going to spend my birthday weekend down in Naples, FL. And I'm gonna have one of those yummy drinks. I had one at the mexican restrauant last June and boy, it was sooo yummy!!! Even though I don't drink much, it is my favorite drink along with pina coladas (drank alot of those in mexico), mike's hard lime.

I love Florida so much. I remember going there for first time in 2005 and I just fell in love with Florida. I remember crying on plane the minute we took off from West Palm Beach! LOL

Seriously, though, for once I want to have a good quiet happy birthday. December birthdays does suck based on my experiences and my fellow friends with December birthdays. People tend to forget us because they get too engrossed into the festivals of the Holidays. No parties, no celebrations of our birthdays. They get too stressed out with the xmas parties, food, shopping, gifts and whatnot. The last 3 birthdays were really bad :( B-day 2004, I was still grieving over miscarriage, breakup (from May) and one thing that is too personal to post... someone left a doll on my desk (I still don't know who to this day) .. it was a cute one.. "spoiled brat"... and I asked everyone who left it and they all raised their hand. Then this co worker was just plain rude to me and said they hit the nail right on the head... etc.. (she was judgmental, harsh etc) and told me bad stuff that hurt me and it ruined my birthday. (we get along now fine as it s pretty much water under the bridge..but that I will never forget).

39th birthday, I spent all day packing up my apartment to move to my new condo at the end of that month. Celebrated my 40th birthday sorta early in Hawaii (Dec 4 to 9) .. but nothing on my actual birthday! :( We had a high wind storm happening that night which caused a huge outage. I was without power for 2 days.

So I feel I deserve a happy 41st birthday away from gray rainy cold Seattle. My last best birthday was my 30th back in 1996. Went down to LA for the weekend... went o Universal Studios and City walk .... it was fun .. it was very warm in the 70s but very very windy. The landing down there was very rough that I thought we were going to crash! YIKES! Ohhhhh yeah my 16th birthday reallllllly sucked big time! I spent it in In School Suspension for having an attitude with one of the teachers. I had tried to talk the vice principal into delaying my ISS for another day, but she refused to budge!! I was crying alot. :(
