Off to Paradise!!

The day is finally here! Actually, it's tomorrow!

I am so excited to escape reality for a bit. Now doing laundry, packing, cleaning, etc... and be at the airport at about 430 a.m. in the morning. Oh yeah, hafta remember to file unemployment at midnight. (on workshare program not UNemployed). I go and get my hair done at 4 or is it at 430? I need to call and confirm. My hair needs it. BAD.

I am not happy about having surgery done on my hand on the 12th. My left thumb is bothering me now.. trigger finger again in a new area of hand. At the rate I'm going, I may need entire hand replacement! This would be my third trigger finger surgery! and a total of 6 surgeries on my hands since 1995.

But at least in a good way, it's a good timing because as I posted before about medical plans changing come 2008. I am having surgery done before 2008 and I still pay only 25 dollars whereas the new plan you pay $100 co pay.

Health care really sucks! I hope I dont have to go the bankruptcy route. Been there done that many years ago and never again. Good credit is a great thing to have and I'm rather overprotective of my credit! I do plan on refi-ing my home in December. I want to be able to go see my former landlord and give him about $1500 in back rent that I owe him from 6 years ago when I moved. This is weighing on my shoulders and I want it off. I guess this is part of making amends u know the 12 step thing.. I have been sober for 6.5 years now. He is such a nice guy.

Anyway, I am so excited to be in a warm climate for a while. Swim in the ocean (if the water is warm still)... Monday night going to Paradise C0ve luau. Weds going to Swap Meet... and not sure about the rest of week but maybe go up to Turtle beach and see those endangered turtles. Check out the waves at North Shore.. shopping, relax, etc.

I ll be back on 10th.... so I'll probably post some pixs.. and maybe I will blog while I'm in Hawaii.. who knows.. we shall see...
