Surgery Part II

Well, it is 5:07 a.m. I woke up at about 3:45 a.m., couldn't sleep anymore, cat was bugging me. So I got up .... made my ginger green tea. It's chilling in the fridge now. I haven't had that for a couple weeks now and I missed it. Just took a sip of it after stirring. YUM. I do need to order more of those 4C tea.

Anyway, more on the surgery:

I was wheeled to my room, it hurt to move. Interpreter Joshlyn stayed with me until around 3 pm. It was fun chatting with her, walking around, etc.

Things got downhill after Joshlyn left. The medical staff talked to my mom instead of me. I was pissed because I wasn't a kid. Mom sucked at interpreting, didn't interpret everything I said, or didn't interpret everything they said to me. UGH.. so I got mad and demanded paper/pen. Then wrote that I wanted all communications to me to be in WRITING and not through my mother. UGH.

I stayed the night, I didn't mind. The hospital bed was too comfortable, I liked sleeping upright. I also got the drugs to put me to sleep since I was awake all day. I loved that drug! YUM.. a huge rush! LOL I had insulin shots 4 times :( ... blood tests too.

I had hospital food consisting of pudding, but I didn't eat many bites of it, just not hungry.

My sidekick died.. wahhhh.. sO i was bored being out of touch all morning Thursday. Went home thurs afternoon.

So I'm doing pretty good. Haven't really lost many just yet, this is lapband not RNY!!
